Just a few tips to help you out.
How does the food feel?
If strict diet and exercise routines are not for you and just make you feel like a failure because you don’t seem to be able to keep them up, then why not try a new approach. How will I feel after I have eaten this? Some foods can be deceptive, but you will generally be ok if you follow this simple principle.
Check up on your health
Here are 3 possible reasons you may not be losing weight: Low thyroid, adrenal exhaustion, insulin resistance. These and other medical conditions can make losing weight very difficult. Get a check up before starting out any fitness routine. Losing weight aside, many people want quick fixes to their health problems that have taken years to develop.
Habits
Breaking a single bad habit and replacing it with a healthy habit will do wonders in moving you towards a healthy new lifestyle. Commit to eating a healthy breakfast every day. And if you’re skipping breakfast, that’s a big no-no.
An easy change
Many people find that they can easily lose up to 20 pounds over the course of just a few months when they stop drinking soda. If you cut out the regular soda you’ll find that the pounds will start dropping within a couple days. Once they get accustomed to the lack of sugar, many people prefer diet sodas. But you’ll never know by having one or two.
Water
There is debate over how much water is needed. Just drink as much as you need to stay hydrated. We don’t believe in forcing yourself to down 10 glasses per day - just have a little extra between meals. Trips to the water cooler aren’t so bad, anyway.
Meals
Most Americans are accustomed to eating 3 meals a day, but it is much better to eat 5 or 6 meals a day if you want to lose weight. It’s hard to do this, though. Try eating the usual 3 meals, just add in a reasonable snack now and then. This will increase your metabolism and provide much needed energy.
Diet Pills
Do you have that sinking feeling about needing to lose weight and being forced to go hungry and eat nothing but dull diet food? There are many misinterpretations of what weight loss diet pills actually do. Unfortunately, you can’t take a diet pill and just carry on eating anything you want without doing exercise.
